§ 12-22. Fee for parish seismic agent.

A fee of seventy-five dollars ($75.00) per day will be charged geophysical operators to be used to pay salary, retirement participation fees, and expenses of parish seismic agents assigned to crews working in the parish. All payments will be made by the geophysical exploration companies directly to the parish permit department on or before the twentieth of each month; therefore, no payments will be made by the operators to the parish seismic agents. The party chief will furnish the parish seismic agent transportation over the working area and will also furnish other parish officials with transportation facilities to enable them to visit the working area, if requested by the permit department.
