§ 12-43. Expiration and renewal.

Permits are limited to a period of one year from the date of issue but may be renewed for not more than two (2) additional ninety-day periods at the discretion of the permit department with the approval of the commissioner of safety and permits or its authorized agent. Applications for renewal may be made in letter form. After the expiration of a permit and any renewals thereof, work may continue or be resumed under any new permit issued on application made as provided in section 12-42.
