§ 12-55. Article no limit or derogation of council authority.

This article is not intended to and shall not be interpreted as limiting or derogating from the power and authority of the commissioner of the department of law and natural resources or of the council. This article is not intended to and shall not be interpreted to limit or derogate from the power of parish to invoke any rights and remedies otherwise available to it under existing laws or contracts.
