§ 15-5. Vehicular traffic on public streets in residential subdivisions in a state of emergency regulated.

  • (a)

    Vehicular traffic on public streets within a residential subdivision which are in a state of emergency because of flooding or other hazard and under police control and supervision is hereby prohibited unless authorized by sheriff's office personnel.

    (b)

    Any person who violates any of the provisions of this section shall be fined an amount not to exceed one hundred dollars ($100.00) or imprisoned in the parish jail for a period of time not to exceed thirty (30) days, or both fined and imprisoned at the discretion of the court.
