§ 16-1.1. Standard Unsafe Building Code adopted.

(a)

There is hereby adopted the Standard Unsafe Building Abatement Code, 1985 Edition, in its entirety. Said code shall take effect immediately or as soon as possible under law. Said Code is attached to Ordinance No. 95-242, and is available for reference in the parish offices.

(b)

In any circumstance where there is a conflict or discrepancy between the procedures set forth in L.S.A.-R.S. 33:4761 et seq. dealing with the removal of dangerous structures, and the Standard Unsafe Building Abatement Code, 1985 Edition, it is hereby declared that the procedures set forth in L.S.A.-R.S. 33:4761 shall control, and that the adoption of the Standard Unsafe Building Abatement Code, 1985 Edition by Ordinance No. 95-242 is hereby ratified and affirmed in all respects.
