§ 16-8.6. Judgment obtained by parish.

In addition to the lien and enforcement procedures authorized under this section, the parish has a cause of action against the owner personally for the costs incurred by the parish, if such owner is not indigent and has the ability to pay a judgment obtained by the parish. Such action may be brought by ordinary proceeding in any court of competent jurisdiction.
