§ 17-55. Penalty.

Whoever violates any provision of this article shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine not exceeding five hundred dollars ($500.00) or by imprisonment not exceeding six (6) months, or both. Each day on which this article is violated shall constitute a separate offense. Additionally, any person who violates any of the provisions of this section [article] shall have his occupational license automatically revoked.
