§ 19-17. Object and scope of code.

(a)

The object and scope of this article is to provide uniformity of standards for street lighting systems and to reduce personal hazards from electrical causes. The requirements set forth herein are intended to provide a minimum standard for such systems installed in Plaquemines Parish.

(b)

The provisions of this article do not apply to installations made by the local electrical utility companies.
