§ 19-43. Violation and penalty.

Any persons, partnership or corporation who violates any of the provisions of this article or aids or abets in the violation of the provisions of this article shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punishable by a fine of not less than twenty-five dollars ($25.00) and no more than one hundred dollars ($100.00) or shall be imprisoned in the parish jail for a term of not less than ten (10) days nor more than thirty (30) days or both, such fine and imprisonment at the discretion of the court.
