§ 19-61. Minimum requirements.

Without in any way limiting the requirements set forth in other sections of this article, the following nonexclusive list of items is set forth as minimum construction requirements:
(1)

All bridge supports, pilings and bracing shall be placed parallel to water flow.

(2)

All bridge supports or pilings shall be at least twelve (12) feet apart.

(3)

Any part of the bridge running opposite to the water flow in the drainage canal shall be set at a minimum height of four (4) feet above normal canal level as set and determined by the parish engineer and the parish superintendent of drainage.
