§ 22-28. Policy and procedure for reimbursement of overcharges for water, sewer and refuse charges.

  • When a complaint has been received and it has been investigated and agreed upon by the director of public services and the customer that incorrect charges have been assessed and overpayment has been made for water, sewer or refuse services, the parish government shall credit the customer's account, within the next billing cycle. This reimbursement of overcharges shall extend for no more than one (1) year prior to customer's complaint.
