§ 2-5. Vehicle allowance, mileage agreements.

The council hereby establishes a maximum amount for vehicle allowance or mileage agreements for parish council members and parish government employees and members of the executive department at fifty-six and one-half cents ($.56.5) per mile up to a maximum of $900.00 per month, and this amount to adjust automatically each time the IRS makes their standard adjustments. All vehicle allowances or mileage agreements must be approved and funded by the council.
