Chapter 2. LEGISLATIVE BRANCH: PARISH COUNCIL |
Article II. COUNCIL |
§ 2-21. Council members authorized to incur expenditures necessary to run their respective offices and serve constituents.
(a)
The Plaquemines Parish Council is unilaterally authorized to make any and all necessary expenditures necessary in order to efficiently and properly run their respective offices, as per law.
(b)
The parish council is unilaterally authorized to provide reasonable and necessary services as may be necessary to serve the constituents of this parish, as per law.
(c)
Each councilman district may have separate and distinct needs from that of a fellow member, and as such, each council member shall have the need to exercise its respective discretion to expend funds as per law.
(d)
Each council member may incur any and all expenditures necessary to properly and efficiently run their respective offices and expend necessary funds in their respective discretion and to provide reasonably necessary services as may be necessary to the constituents of this parish, as per law.
