§ 2-34. Responsibilities of the personnel director.

The parish commission council, hereinafter known as the council, hereby assigns and entrusts to its personnel director the responsibility for the overall administration and implementation of its human resources management system and personnel-related programs, policies and procedures adopted by the council. The personnel director shall report to the council through the commissioner of finance in regularly scheduled sessions of the council on the status of human resources activities in the work force and any variances from the council's adopted standards. The personnel director shall make such recommendations to the council to modify any standards or practices deemed to be in the best interest of the council and the parish.
