§ 6-51. Erection or alteration of signs, sheds, structures on docks or adjacent grounds.

  • No person shall place, erect, or construct any signs or structures or make any alterations or repairs to or on any dock, wharf, building, bulkhead, green space, or pier in the parish boat harbors, unless they first obtain a building permit, coastal zone permit, and sign a hold harmless and indemnification agreement with Plaquemines Parish government. Any such repairs, improvements, and other structures so erected shall become the property of the parish government at the termination of the slip lease. All structures, improvements, and repairs shall be made in full accordance with all parish, state, and national code and regulatory requirements.
