§ 6-62. Docking at seafood businesses in Venice Harbor.

  • (a)

    All persons owning, operating, leasing, or exercising control over a seafood wholesale and/or retail business in the Venice Boat Harbor on parish leased property are not allowed to have vessels dock or moor at the business unless the vessel is off loading, refueling or icing. This shall not exceed a twenty-four-hour period.

    (b)

    Seafood businesses/docks located in the Venice Boat Harbor are allowed to lease on a monthly basis a maximum of six (6) boat slips to be used by their business customers only. All boats docked in these slips shall register daily with the harbor master and the Plaquemines Boat Harbor Office and shall comply with Plaquemines Boat Harbor rules and regulations.
