§ 6-291. Created.

There is hereby created the Economic Development Advisory Board for the Plaquemines Port, Harbor and Terminal District and the Parish of Plaquemines to actively promote the development of the Port of Plaquemines Parish, which shall consist of fifteen (15) members as follows:

(a)

A member from each council district—9;

(b)

Three (3) members derived from business and industry, one (1) from a business located on the east bank of the parish, and one (1) each from a business located on the upper and lower ends of the west bank of the parish—3;

(c)

Two (2) members consisting of civic leaders from the parish—2;

(d)

Two (2) members derived from the banking establishment of the parish—2.
