§ 6-207. Penalties for violation.

  • (a)

    It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation to utilize or make use of the district or any of its facilities without paying to the district the proper toll, charge or fee therefor as fixed and specified in this division, or without having established a mutually agreeable procedure for such payment to the district, and every person, firm, or corporation violating any provision of this order respecting the payment of any toll, charge, or fee shall be deemed to have violated the provisions of this division and the ordinances of this district and the laws of the State of Louisiana and of the United States.

    (b)

    It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation to fail, refuse or neglect to comply with any of the provisions of the rules and regulations prescribed by this division or supplement thereto, or by designation otherwise.

    (c)

    The Plaquemines Port, Harbor and Terminal District shall have all the remedies for collection of any tariff charges, or may seek to enforce any provision of the division in any manner as provided by law. In connection herewith, note the provision of section 6-208, providing for payment of bills.
