§ 7-25.1. Clean-up requirement for new construction, renovation or demolition.

  • (a)

    All persons, partnerships, firms or corporations applying for a building permit for new construction work or renovation shall be required to clear all public rights of way bordering the construction site of construction material or debris on a weekly basis prior to final inspection approval is issued by the Plaquemine Parish department of permits.

    (b)

    All persons, partnerships, firms or corporations applying for a building permit for new construction work must provide port-o-let facilities prior to beginning any construction.

    (c)

    Upon completion of the new construction, renovation and/or demolition work, the permit department shall inspect the site and its surrounding area and if it is determined that the public rights of way have not been cleared of all debris within seven (7) days for new construction final inspection release will not be given to utility companies for connections and for renovation and demolition work Ordinance No. 94-343 will be enforced.
