§ 7-55. Classification of electricians.

Electricians shall be classified for the purpose of this article as follows:
(1)

Class A Electricians: Any person engaging in the business of installing or contracting to install or repairing or contracting to repair electrical conductors, motors, generators, fixtures or any other electrical apparatus or material for all systems operating at a difference of potential of fifty (50) volts or more.

(2)

Class B Electricians: Any person who is employed as a maintenance electrician by any person owning or operating any place of business, said license to be valid only while said maintenance electrician remains in the employ of said person.
