§ 7-69. Suspension or revocation of licenses.

  • Any license issued in accordance with the provisions of this article may after hearing be suspended or revoked by the board of electrical examiners if the person holding such license willfully, or by reason of incompetence, repeatedly violates any statute of the state or any ordinance or rule or regulation of the parish relating to the installation, maintenance, alteration or repair of electric wiring, devices, appliances and equipment.

    The board of examiners shall revoke any Class A, electrical contractor's license if during a period of two (2) years no permit for the installation of any electric wiring, devices, appliances or equipment shall have been secured from the parish by the holder of such license.
