§ 8-16. Office of homeland security and emergency preparedness—Established.

Pursuant to the provisions of Section 727 of Title 29 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes, as amended, requiring each parish president to establish an office of homeland security and emergency preparedness or other like parish agency, the establishment of the department of homeland security, section 2-515.11 et seq., as parish departments under the authority of the office of the parish president, is hereby provided for and confirmed.
