§ 8-21. Authority of parish president.

Nothing in this section shall be construed to diminish or otherwise affect the authority of the parish president set forth in the Louisiana Homeland Security and Emergency Assistance of Disaster Act, La. R.S. 29:721 et seq., nor shall it be construed to prevent the parish president from serving as the director of the department of homeland security in accordance with La. R.S. 29:728(B).
