Article IV. LICENSURE OF GAMES OF CHANCE FOR CHARITABLE PURPOSES |
§ 14-204. Investigation of applicants.
The council shall make or cause to be made an investigation of the qualifications of each applicant and the merits of the application, with due expedition after the filing of the application, and it shall determine whether the applicant is duly qualified to hold, operate and conduct games of chance under the provisions of this article; that the member or members of the applicant designated in the applications to hold, operate or conduct or assist in holding, operating or conducting the game or games of chance are bonafide active members of the applicant and persons of good moral character and have never been convicted of a felony or a misdemeanor involving gambling or related offenses or a misdemeanor involving moral turpitude.
