§ 15-13. Parking on rights-of-way restricted.

(a)

The parking of any automobile or other vehicle on any public or private right-of-way, exclusive of public roads, streets and highways, without the permission of the owner of the land is prohibited.

(b)

The Plaquemines Parish Government or any private landowner upon finding an automobile or other vehicle illegally parked on said right-of-way shall contact the sheriff's office to have said automobile removed from the premises.

(c)

The parish sheriff's office is hereby given the authority to contract a private towing agency to remove said automobile or other vehicle from the property of the landowner.
