§ 19-26. Connections.

Latest version.

All electrical connections shall be made with the use of U.L. approved mechanical connectors and shall be made in the junction box at the base of the service pole or in the hand at the base of the light standard. No splices or connections shall be made in conduit or raceways. Each connection shall be covered with insulation equal to the insulation of the conductor. In line fuses shall be installed at each standard's base.
