§ 20-4. Adoption of codes and standards.

  • Rules and regulations are hereby adopted for the subdivision and resubdivision of land into lots, plots or building sites, for the purpose of sale, building development or improvement, either immediate or future, including permits, ordinances and penalties including but not limited to those certain codes known as:

    (1)

    Plaquemines Parish Fire Prevention Code, Ordinance No. 16, as amended.

    (2)

    Health, Safety and Sanitary Codes, State of Louisiana, as amended.

    (3)

    National Fire Prevention Code, as amended.

    (4)

    National Traffic Safety Code, as amended.

    (5)

    The Louisiana Coordinate System of 1983 South Zone as provided in R.S. 50:1, et seq.

    (6)

    The Rules of Professional Conduct promulgated by the Louisiana State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Surveyors pursuant to the authority of R.S. 37:688, et seq., set forth under Title 46, Part LM of the rules of the board.

    (7)

    Rules and regulations of the State Department of Transportation and Development, Office of Highways, for Road and Street Construction.

    (8)

    Plaquemines Parish Council Resolution adopted November 24, 1982, adopting the Parish Road and Street Study System, as amended, save and except such portions thereof as are herein specifically deleted, modified or amended.

    (9)

    Plaquemines Parish Commission Council Resolution adopted January 5, 1983, adopted the Belle Chasse Major Street Plan.

    (10)

    Plaquemines Parish Commission Council Ordinance No. 94, adopted June 27, 1968, as amended, governing street lighting standards.

    Three (3) copies of each code have been and are now on file in the office of secretary of this council and the same are hereby adopted and incorporated, as fully as if set out at length herein, and shall be in full force and effect from the effective date of this section.
