§ 2-50.2. Rules.
The following rules, regulations, criteria and standards are hereby established and adopted to implement supplemental payments for retired parish employees:
Eligible retirees shall be former full-time employees having worked forty (40) hours per week for a minimum of ten (10) years and reached normal retirement age of sixty (60) while employed, who were not recipients of any parish monetary incentive plan, nor made any withdrawals from the Parochial Employees' Retirement System of Louisiana prior to normal retirement and receive less than three hundred dollars ($300.00) per month in Parochial Employees' Retirement System of Louisiana retirement benefits excluding social security; eligible retirees shall receive supplemental benefits at the rate of fifteen dollars ($15.00) per month for each year of service not to exceed twenty (20) years or a maximum amount of two hundred dollars ($200.00) per month; except when final compensation (Parochial Employees' Retirement System of Louisiana retirement benefits and supplemental benefits) exceed four hundred dollars ($400.00) per month, then parish supplemental benefits shall be reduced by the lessor.
