§ 7-19. Building inspector.

The office of building inspector is hereby created and he shall be appointed as is provided in sections 2-33 through 2-38 of this Code. It shall be the duty of the building inspector under the supervision and control of the department of public safety to enforce all laws and provisions of this article, and regulations relating to the construction, alteration, removal and demolition of buildings and structures in the parish.
