§ 18-24. Public notice and public hearing.

Prior to making recommendation on any zoning ordinance, or amendment thereto; prior to adopting regulations governing the subdivision of land; and prior to adopting the master plan, or part thereof the parish development board shall hold a public hearing thereon at which interested persons shall be afforded a reasonable opportunity to be heard. Notice of the time and place of the hearing shall be published at least three (3) times in the official journal, the first publication appearing in the official journal at least fifteen (15) days prior to the date of the hearing.
