§ 19-21. Notice before work is concealed.

  • When any part of a wiring installation is to be buried or concealed from view, the person supervising and installing the duct or wiring shall notify the department of planning, permits and zoning for inspection. Such parts of the wiring installation shall not be concealed until they have been inspected and approved by the inspector; provided that when such installation as the concealment of parts of the wiring must be continuous, at the discretion of said inspector, shall post notice upon the premises stating that work is approved and may be covered, or is not approved and may not be covered until corrected and reinspected. Any person removing, destroying, altering or defacing said notice without the consent of the department shall be deemed guilty of an offense under this division, and work described in said notice shall remain pending the necessary inspection.
